About Job

The Cyber Security Engineer will lead the organisation’s cyber security uplift, overseeing audits, strategy, and implementation. You will manage the full security lifecycle, from assessing current systems to developing roadmaps and partnering with ICT teams to ensure resilience and compliance. The role involves enhancing monitoring, managing vulnerabilities, and embedding security frameworks across cloud, on-prem, and SaaS environments.

About You

You bring a strong IT foundation and experience in cyber security strategy, tools, and compliance. You have the ability to collaborate across teams while maintaining security best practices and frameworks such as ASD Essential Eight or ISO 27001. Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities is valued, alongside strong problem-solving and communication skills.
