About Job

The Cyber Security Operations Manager will oversee the 24/7 Cyber Security Operations Centre, managing staff, processes, and technology to detect and mitigate incidents. You will lead cybersecurity strategy, embed security-by-design, and integrate emerging technologies while fostering digital and cultural change. This leadership role is pivotal to safeguarding Council systems, networks, and data across the organisation.

You are an experienced cyber security leader with a proven ability to manage high-performing teams and complex operations. You bring knowledge of modern CSOC environments, strong communication skills, and expertise in risk management, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. You thrive in dynamic, large-scale organisations and can align security strategies with business priorities.
