About Job

The Cyber Security Specialist will embed secure-by-design principles across systems engineering and product development, ensuring security controls align with the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF). The role covers security control verification, risk assessment, accreditation support, security documentation and advising engineering teams on configuration and security requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

About You

You will have a tertiary qualification in computer science, information technology or cybersecurity, with six or more years’ relevant experience or equivalent. Strong knowledge of Australian Defence security frameworks, cyber risk management, security documentation and technologies including encryption and secure operating environments is required, along with Australian citizenship and current or eligibility for NV1 security clearance.
