The Australian Defence Force provides national security and defence capabilities across Australia and internationally. This Army role offers paid training from entry level, developing specialist cyber warfare skills to support the defence of Defence systems, networks and cyberspace operations.

About Job

As a Cyber Warfare Specialist, you will identify and defend against cyber threats across complex Defence ICT systems and networks at tactical, operational and strategic levels. Training leads to roles including Vulnerability Assessment Analyst and Defensive Cyberspace Operations Team member, involving vulnerability assessment, incident investigation, technical analysis, security audits and cyber operations.

About You

No prior cybersecurity experience is required, with extensive training provided from the beginning of service. Applicants must be at least 17, an Australian citizen, have completed Australian Year 10 or equivalent with passes in English and Maths, meet fitness and health requirements, and be able to undergo background checks.
