About Job

Reporting to the CIO, the Head of Cyber Security & Assurance will establish and lead Council’s cybersecurity and information assurance function. The role will drive cyber strategy, governance, risk, compliance, security architecture, incident management and organisational resilience while providing strategic advice to executives and governance bodies.

About You

You will be a strategic and influential cybersecurity leader with significant experience across cyber security, information assurance, risk or related functions in complex organisations. Strong people leadership, cyber governance, security architecture, threat and vulnerability management, incident response and the ability to translate technical risk into business outcomes are essential.
