About Job
As Cyber Security Analyst you will lead the protection of the Council’s systems and data by driving organisation‑wide security initiatives, strengthening governance and maturing cyber risk practices. You will oversee incident response, conduct audits and vulnerability assessments, and work with teams across the organisation to embed secure practices. Your role ensures robust monitoring and continuous improvement of core security capabilities.

You bring demonstrated experience in cyber security, with strong risk management, incident response and governance skills underpinned by modern security tooling proficiency. Your deep understanding of security frameworks and standards is matched by your ability to conduct assessments and provide clear, expert advice. Effective communication and collaboration across teams enables you to manage priorities and advance enterprise security outcomes.
