About Job

The Coordinator Cyber Defence will provide strategic and operational leadership for Council’s cyber defence capability, overseeing security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management and security control optimisation. The role will strengthen cyber resilience, incident readiness and Essential Eight maturity.

About You

You will be an experienced cybersecurity leader with strong practical expertise in security operations, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response and security technologies. Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint or Entra ID security is valued, together with leadership capability and knowledge of Essential Eight, NIST CSF and ISO 27001/27002.
