About Job

The Cyber Security Analyst will help protect Council’s systems, information and data by monitoring security alerts, supporting incident response and conducting vulnerability and risk assessments. The role also contributes to security audits, control improvements, incident response planning and building cyber security awareness through education, phishing simulations and targeted communications.

About You

You will have a degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience and training. You will bring experience in cyber security operations, security monitoring, incident detection, vulnerability management and threat intelligence, with knowledge of identity security, SIEM/SOAR, Essential Eight, PCI DSS and NIST. Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills are essential.
