$128,651 + superannuation + regional allowance, increasing to $135,084 + superannuation + regional allowance from 1 January 2027.

About Job

The Cyber Security Analyst will lead cyber security monitoring, threat analysis, incident response and vulnerability management to protect Southern Ports’ systems and data. Working with a managed SOC, the role will investigate incidents, strengthen response procedures, manage cyber risk and drive continuous security improvement across on-premise and cloud environments.

About You

You will bring extensive cyber security operations experience and strong expertise across SIEM, vulnerability management, endpoint protection and cloud security, including Microsoft Defender. A degree or advanced diploma, strong analytical and reporting skills, and knowledge of NIST CSF, ISM and Essential Eight are required, with scripting and relevant industry certifications highly regarded.
